Valumart meats Steams

The camera fades to the locker rooms, where there can be seen Valumart relaxing against the wall, seemingly waiting for someone. The crowd starts booing, but the noise softens a bit as Steams rounds the corner. He seems a bit taken aback to see Valumart there, and seems to just walk by, but Valumart takes the initiative.

Valumart: Well well…if this is not my last opponent…Steams!

Steams: Yeah…and? Where is it?

Valumart raises an eyebrow.

Valumart: Where is…what?

Steams: Well, the surprise you’ve promised!

Valumart: Oh, this. We’ll come to this later. First let me have a word with you. I have watched you in the last time rather close, and I noticed you maybe are a bit smarter then the other three idiots I already had to destroy over the last weeks. Now let me tell you something: We will meet next Monday at the supershow…and honestly: you know as well as I do who will win this match. There is no way you could equal me!

Steams: Maybe you are better then me…but I feel really confident, and if I hit a good stipulation I have a rather good chance, I’m sure!

Valumart: Oh, shut up. The only thing the stipulation will change is the degree of your injuries! Unfortunately it might have some effect on my precious health as well, which is the reason I wanted to talk to you. You will go now to Jay and tell him you don’t want to fight me Monday. This way none of us is going to be harmed, you stay away from hospital and I keep my shot. Doesn’t this sound good?

Steams: Not really. You sure are a coward. Well, I’m not. Maybe I’ll get the beating of my life. I don’t care. But what I could not stand is to just have given up to you!

Valumart: Are you sure? Oh…I see where your problem is.

He goes in the direction of the camera. The cameraman backs out of the room, and finally stands outside.

Valumart: I think you make him nervous. He will only get to sense when we are alone.

He goes back in again and closes the door. A very short while he goes out again, looking satisfied with himself. The cameraman hurries to get him.

Valumart: No more interviews now. You should better get the medics. Smoke – or how his name is – just collapsed inside.

And still wearing this smile he walks off.
